Berisso, silversides in the depths

Anna EdwardsBerisso, depths, silversides

Few environments can guarantee us to achieve kilo silversides and more on a fishing excursion. And although in our sport each guarantee is relative, fishing in Berisso is almost a purchase ticket for big tuna on the other side of the line, and, without a doubt, from now on the best thing will come for fishing this species in the Rio de la Plata. As Fernando Sánchez, one of the references we have in the estuary, told us, at the moment, fishing is taking place between 12,000 and 15,000 meters from the coast, in the deepest part of the river.…

Talleres beat Sarmiento and does not loosen up his fight with River

Anna Edwardsbeat, fight, loosen, River, Sarmiento, Talleres

Talleres' victory against Sarmiento by the slightest difference can be summed up in the task of Diego Valoyes. The forward was the author of the only goal at the Eva Perón Stadium in Junín to give Javier Gandolfi's team the three points that allow him to dream of staying in the fight with River in the fight for the Professional League title. In just six minutes, the T was enough to close an important victory that will defend the definition of the domestic championship, since the Millionaire will not be able to be champion next weekend, when he faces San…

After 11 months (on August 7, 2022 against Miter de Santiago del Estero) Belgrano lost again in Alberdi. In a game to which he never found a return, they fell 2-0 against Barracas Central, who came from beating River in their stadium. On the contrary, the Pirate sought recovery after losing to the Institute but found no answers on the pitch. Barracas Central's goals were converted by Brian Alejandro Calderara and Francisco Álvarez, one in each half. Sergio Rondina's plan was to play in the opponent's field and with the ball on the ground, pressing the opponent and going quickly…

Racing could not even with an alternative Estudiantes

Anna Edwardsalternative, Estudiantes, Racing

Racing and Estudiantes have finished playing this Professional League. They continue to do so, it is true, but they are a mirage: a hologram of what they knew how to be. Now they only have to complete the grid of dates to try to be in the qualifying zone for the Cups, and focus on their true objective: Pincha in the Sudamericana and La Academia in the Libertadores. The rest matters little. The boring tie that they staged last night in La Plata validates that theory. There were expectations of a great game or a nice game, but it was…
