They lived together in Renato Cesarini's pension in Rosario, they shared the River's 1980 category and months ago there was a point of meeting again, this time as members of the coaching staff of the "millionaire" professional team. Javier Gandolfi and Martín Demichelis have a long history in common. To such an extent that the DT of Talleres recognizes his River Plate counterpart as "one of the few friends" that soccer gave him. “Cobija” was one of those targeted by 'Micho' to join the staff who at the beginning of 2023 assumed the leadership of the first team of the…

Beating Boca at La Bombonera is not an everyday thing. In fact, Belgrano had to wait 25 years to claim victory in the legendary xeneize redoubt, after that first experience on September 29, 1968: a 1-3 defeat on the fourth date of the AFA National Championship. The first celebration was on 11/14/1993, a 1-0 win for the 19th date of the Apertura. It was the Uruguayan Luis Sosa, with 10 minutes remaining in the game, who surprised 'Mono' Navarro Montoya with a shot from outside the area and added a new chapter to his record of unforgettable goals with the…

Barca illusion: San Lorenzo won on the hour and puts pressure on the River pointer

Anna EdwardsBarca, hour, illusion, Lorenzo, pointer, pressure, puts, River, San, won

San Lorenzo and Banfield are probably two of the most antagonistic teams present in the Professional League. The moon and the sun. Last night it seemed that this was neutralized in a sad and boring draw in the South until, at the last minute of discount, Perrito Barrios approved that duality: the Cyclone celebrated, hugged and approached the leader River, while Banfield left with nothing, with his people showing anger and frustration. With Rubén Insúa as director, San Lorenzo perfected building a team that improved substantially compared to last year. He's tough on defense and, while he doesn't play pretty,…

Final with VAR and tension for a Red that won and takes a breath

Anna Edwardsbreath, final, Red, takes, Tension, VAR, won

If you do not suffer, you are not Independent. It should be a new football maxim. Because with Red there is no peace when they are winning, nor when they control the game, nor when they deserve to win. What happened yesterday in Avellaneda entered the realm of the unpredictable: Tigre won, tied it with a VAR penalty and ended up with the three points thanks to a goal in injury time also observed by VAR. In Independiente things do not flow, they are not natural, to everything you have to add a seasoning of tension. That is why the…

Anna Edwardsapplause, divided, insults, los, Messi, Parque, Príncipes

Once again, Lionel Messi had to endure the booing yesterday from the Parque de los Príncipes stadium, which began very hostile towards the Argentine, but which in the end gave him some applause and redemption. PSG thrashed Ajaccio 5-0 (one of the goals was a bomb by Kylian Mbappé) and continues first, six points behind Lens and three dates from the Ligue 1 final. On his return to the team after the suspension imposed by the club's board of directors as a result of an unconsulted trip to Saudi Arabia, the captain of the Argentine national team was mistreated as…

Urine therapy: the danger of drinking urine that some celebrities sell

Anna Edwards

Urine therapy is considered a pseudotherapy encompassed in alternative medicine, which consists of the application of human urine for medicinal or cosmetic purposes. This includes drinking and ingesting one's own urine and massaging it into the skin or gums. But there is no conclusive scientific evidence to support its therapeutic use. However, the process became popular as an alternative medicine system mainly thanks to the British naturopath J.Ohn W. Armstrong at the beginning of the 20th century. Armstrong was inspired by his family's practice of using urine to treat minor insect bites and toothaches, and his own experience of personal…
