Belgrano drew goalless against Lanús in a changing process game

More than 50,000 Belgrano fans gave a spectacular setting to the Mario Kempes stadium. All celestial, and an imposing moon. A heat of those. But a game that gave away few plays to applaud. Anything could have happened, Belgrano could have won, Lanús could have won… but they tied.

For the seventh date of the Professional League, the ‘Pirate’ received a visit from the ‘Garnet’ and they equalized without goals. The ‘B’ adds eleven points in the contest.

Intensity and heat don’t get along very well. That’s why the game had so many different moments. The field was exhausted and the players felt it.

The cast led by Guillermo Farré went through various stages in the match.

For example, in the first half he started with everything, it seemed that there was an offensive idea, but after the penalty that was not charged, he was delayed and ownership of the ball did not change. At times he looked balanced in midfield and at others he exposed tremendous shortcomings in the ball’s hand.

But let’s go back to the beginning. It is that at 17 seconds he had the first opportunity to open the scoring. It is that Lanús took out, but he quickly stole Matías ‘Caco’ García, who touched for Vegetti, he opened for Ortigoza, whose center García himself did not force to push. He was very close. On top of that, at 17′ the referee Merlos and the VAR did not see a hand from the Paraguayan Canale that the entire stadium claimed. Until then the ‘Pirate’ was a team with intentions, but with limitations and little fluidity. Garcia was the only sigh of a good game, but he never found a buddy to make a game.

While at ‘Garnet’ he had ‘Pepo’ De la Vega playing one touch, making the team play and yes, finding partners. De la Vega and Esquivel managed to expose the spaces that Celeste did not know how to cover. And so, a little bit, it gave the Celeste defense headaches.

Lanús did not shine, but with some touches it was complicated and Nahuel Losada should appear. He made a couple of saves to clap and not stop clapping.

The complement began, again, with a dangerous play by ‘B’. At 3′, Acosta made a save against a shot from ‘Caco’ García. But it was only a mirage. The level of play dropped a lot in the second stage. He was more friction. Isolated plays and some passes by Bruno Zapelli, who entered and gave fresh air to the warm night at Kempes -It is a shame that Zapelli for Argentine football sees a large part of the games on the substitute bench-. Yes, it is worth saying that Belgrano was better in the background in the complement, with Rébola and Meriano very firm and sure.

He had it towards the end, with a very good play by Hesar, but he did not dare to define and the pass to Vegetti was not good. The “uuuuuuh” was so big, it hurt. But a minute later the ‘Pirate’ saved himself in an incredible way.

Anything could have happened. But it was a goalless draw, and the ‘Pirate’ continues adding.

GOOD DEAL. The two who sought to generate play for both clubs.
