Fair Prices: the Government renewed the program until July fines with increases of 3.8%

The Ministry of Commerce renewed the program Fair Prices until July 31 of this year, with an increase in the monthly increase guideline that goes from 3.2% to 3.8%. Is about a basket of 2,101 products, which is already available in the 2,500 outlets of the program.

As announced by the Secretary of Commerce, 90% of the products remain in the fixed basket presented in April, while 4% are new.

The basket that participates in the agreement is made up of: water, soft drinks, rice, sweet and salty cookies, sugar, coffee, toothbrushes and toothpastes, cleaners, preserves, shampoo, conditioner, disposable diapers, milk cream, butter, dulce de leche , milk, flour, soap, bleach, baked goods, yogurt, grass, among others.

Official information indicates that of the 112 companies that participate in the agreement, 39 are SMEs – they provide 15% of the products in the basket – 62 large companies and 11 are supermarkets. In addition, 5 companies from the Oil Trust and 18 companies from the Flour and Noodles Trust are incorporated.

The Fair Prices program runs through July 31.

The products in the basket can be purchased in 2,500 outlets: large supermarkets such as Coto, Carrefour, Día, Disco, Vea, Jumbo, ChangoMás, La Anónima, Toledo, Libertad, Josimar, among others, and regional supermarkets in La Workers’ Cooperative and the Argentine Chamber of Supermarkets (CAS) and the Argentine Federation of Supermarkets and Supermarkets (FASA).

Among the most relevant mass consumption brands that participate in Fair Prices are 9 de oro, Bagley, Gallo, La Serenísima, Mendicrim, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Ser, Yogurísimo, Cabrales, Colgate, Huggies, Pampers, Higienol, La Campagnola, La Salteña, Plusbelle, Procenex, Quilmes Bock, Rexona, Siempre Libre, Luchetti and Oral B.

Consumers will be able to consult the products and businesses adhered to the program through the Fair Prices app and make complaints in case of non-compliance or shortages.
