Fixed term or dollar? What is the most profitable option to save?

In times where any investment is useful, but it also seems not be entirely profitable, let’s see how much it benefits us to bet on a fixed term of 30 days with different deposits. Day by day, interest rates remain at 75% annual nominal.

Let’s go with concise examples. If we deposit 10 thousand pesos in a fixed period of 30 days, once the return is completed, it will be 10,616.44 pesos. This means that the vested interests are 616.44 pesos.

In annual terms, cin 12 consecutive fixed installments with the same reinvestment, the return will be $20,499.63. Now, if we deposit 50,000 pesos within 30 days, 53,082.19 pesos are returned. Per year, the profit would be 102,448.17 pesos.

Now we scale a little more: if the initial capital were 100,000 pesos, after 30 days $106,164 would be obtained. In a year, meanwhile, the results would amount to $204,996.34.

Finally, if we had the possibility to put one million pesos in a fixed term, at 30 days we will have $61,643.84 more. With the same annual reinvestment, it would amount to $2,049,963.41. It is important to know that the traditional 30-day fixed terms are for individuals and for no more than 10 million pesos.
