The head of government, Horacio Rodriguez Larretaannounced new measures to give employment options to the beneficiaries of the Porteña Citizenship program with the aim of linking social plans to work and training.
He Buenos Aires government announced that, from now on, who are beneficiaries of the social plan Buenos Aires Citizenship must access job training courses to continue receiving cash aid. “Over the last few years we have been seeing an increase in social levels, but, on the other hand, poverty has not decreased. There are more and more planes, there are more and more poor people”, the leader began by pointing out.
“The way the planes are, they don’t work. they don’t go anymore. They are not improving the living conditions of those who receive them. They are not linked to workthey do not encourage people to look for and get a job, to get ahead,” he clarified.
He also made reference to the fact that today there are people who choose not to take a formal job because that way they would lose the social plan and said: “Here everyone talks about turning the plan into work, It already seems like a crutch in Argentinabut very few actually say how to do it”.
The proposal from the City is based on a study of the functionality of social plans in other countries. “From that our proposal is concrete: the social planes must be directorsmust be temporary and should include a consideration so that they receive them they can live better”.
“We want to present a new measure whose objective is not only to guarantee additional consideration, but also to limit the temporality of the plan so that it is an aid in an emergency, but that this aid never discourages the search for a job. Every person who is able to work and receive a plan has to get trained and actively look for a job,” she emphasized.

Also, the representative of Together for Change advanced: “I promise here that if I am elected president, on December 10 I will end with the mediation of social plans. I end with the social organizations that profit and that do politics with the needs of those who have less.
“We Argentines are living through very difficult days, with great anguish. This value of the dollar that does not stop rising is just a symptom. Runaway inflation, poverty and the UN current government that is a manual of what not to dothey are wrong about everything, they failed”, he reflected in reference to the current economic situation in the country.
“Today we are seeing the end of this irresponsible Argentina, we cannot continue going around with ideas that failed. There is no more room for improvisation, for superficiality. Nor is there room for shouting, for violence, for insults. I am not going to put out this fire with more gasoline, we need more than ever tranquility, calm, predictability, and above all work, ”he commented.
Also, communicate: “We are going to change everything without shortcuts, no marketing titles. They already stole our present, let’s prevent them from stealing our future. We’re going to get out of this. Together. There is no one, I assure you, who is capable of leading this country alone.”
