Juan Román Riquelme broke the silence and spoke about various topics in F90 Delaware ESPN. One of the topics was the importance of the titles he got with Boca during the idol’s stage as manager and the club’s search to try to get the three-time championship in the Professional League.
“In the three years that we have been here we have been competing well. We have players who like to compete and who always show their class in important matches. In the end it ends up being a very good year, winning the two tournaments and the two classics is not easy“, he expressed.
And he added: “We are happy with the squad we have. We heard on TV that we have to bring 14 reinforcements, but no. We are calm and we trust what we have, if every three months we win“.
While speaking, Martín Liberman dedicated a tweet to Román. “Now is it useful to win domestically? When he was abroad he said that one libertadores were 10 locals,” he wrote.
At the time, Riquelme had targeted River when he won the Copa Libertadores in Marcelo Gallardo’s stage: “The Copa Libertadores is worth about 10 Argentine championships.
