The National Administration of Drugs, Food and Technology (ANMAT) alerted the population about the marketing and distribution of a batch of counterfeit products of one renowned sweet bread brandone of the classic Christmas meals.
It is the product labeled as “Sweet Bakery Dough with Chocolate Chips – Type sweet breadSWEET BREAD WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS, Balcarce brand”, net weight 500 g with adulterated expiration date, as reported in a statement by the decentralized body.

According to him, the firm Desserts Balcarce SA contacted this Administration to communicate that “did not produce the product in the course of the year 2022“. The decision was made after a consumer making the claim before the company in the middle of the peak sales season for this type of dessert.
