The field exported more than US$55.2 billion in 2022

The Argentine Agroindustrial Council (CCA) presented its last report in what is exposed The contribution of agriculture to the domestic economysince, according to the document, in 2022 the agro-industrial complex exported US$ 55,126.3 million.

The document highlights that the complexes with the highest increase in exports last year were: the one with the alfalfa, barley, ovoavicola and popcorn corn. While those who registered the biggest fall were: pigsother fruit, citrus (excluding lemon), blueberries and similar fruits.

How the drought impacts cattle herds

Likewise, it is highlighted that despite the good 2022, there was a drop in the volume of exports of 6%, but the amount grew by 7.9% or US$4,059.1 million more compared to the currencies that were achieved in 2021.

Regarding the complexes that have the most weight in the national economy from the exporting point of view the report located soy first with a participation of almost 41%; followed by corn with about 17%; wheat with 8%; the meat and empty leather with about 7%; the sunflower and the fishingwith 3.4%.

The document maintains that: “At 2021 pricesexports had been US$ 48,217 millionthat is, almost 13% lower” compared to the amount obtained last year, when the prices of major commodities of the sector benefit from the rise in international values.
