The Government criminally denounces the Edesur board while there are riots due to the lack of light

The Secretary of Energy of the National Government instructed the National Electricity Regulation Entity (ENRE)) to that this Thursday March 16 criminally report the entire board of Edesur by embezzlement, fraud to the detriment of public administration and abandonment of personas officially made official.

This is the second time so far this year that the ENRE has analyzed the status of the Edesur concession as a result of the repeated power outages that occur in different neighborhoods of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and in the south and southwest of the Buenos Aires suburbs, reported the agency telam.

According to the ENRE registry, in the concession area to Edesur a total of 75,127 users were without electricity at 10:30 p.m.

The neighborhoods and towns most affected by power outages

The most affected towns in Buenos Aires in the Edesur area were Berazategui, Quilmes, Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, Esteban Echeverría, Ezeiza, Lanús and Lomas de Zamora.

In the case of the CABA, the areas most affected by the cuts are the neighborhoods Almagro, Balvanera, Boedo, Almagro, Slaughterhouses, Villa Lugano and Flores.

Complaints and disturbances at an Edesur headquarters

Due to the lack of electricity supply, residents of different neighborhoods of the City and the Buenos Aires suburbs carried out protests in order to give visibility to your claim for the lack of electricity.

For his part, he National Metereological Service (SMN) forecast a minimum of 26 and a maximum of 32 degrees for this Thursday, and similar temperatures for Friday, while the downward trend would continue through the weekend.
