They gave employment guarantees to 200,000 Uocra workers

The Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Kelly Olmos, handed over labor competency certificates to construction workers, at the facilities of a housing project under construction, by the construction company Criba, located in Azopardo and Belgrano Avenue, in CABA.

“With this certification it is achieved that the worker from the beginning can fit into the collective agreement in accordance with these and, consequently, improve the income he receives from the beginning,” said Olmos, while highlighting the joint work with the Ministry of Education, with which “it is important to ensure that skills are articulated with formal education, in order to prioritize the training that is achieved in the world of work.

Finally, he called for “being aware that these things are achieved when there is a collective project that believes in the hierarchization of work as a central axis of the construction of a social democracy”, and clarified that “it is not the same when the Uocra It has 450,000 affiliates, as it has now recovered, than when it has 200,000. This clearly expresses the existence of a project that impoverishes and expels the workers, because those 200,000 are not in a position to fight for the hierarchy of their work or their salary, as they can effectively do when we are going through a situation in which they can fight for full employment.”

It should be noted that in the period from December 2019 to 2022, 6,050 workers from 3,110 companies in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Chaco, Córdoba, Corrientes, Formosa, Misiones, Salta, San Juan, Santa Fe, Catamarca, Chubut were evaluated and certified. , Entre Ríos, La Pampa, Mendoza, Neuquén, Tucumán and CABA, where 34.8% of workers are under 35 years of age.
