Two men were sentenced to prison for the robbery of Ángel Di María’s house

This Wednesday, two men were sentenced to three and four years in prison by the correctional court of Nanterre for the robbery at the home of Ángel Di María in March 2021.

Two women and two men appeared before the correctional court since Tuesday for “robbery in an organized gang” for that robbery with a break-in at the player’s home, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, in Paris, on the night of March 14, 2021, while noodle He played a Ligue 1 match against Nantes at the Parc des Princes.

The court acquitted one of the two women and sentenced the second to six months in prison, for having helped shelter the first two.

Thieves they took about forty luxury watches, jewelry and cash kept in a safe and an estimated value between 400,000 and 600,000 euros (428,700 and 643,000 dollars).

According to the investigation, at least one burglar broke into the home of Di María through a terrace on the third floor, leaving no sign of the raid. Di María’s partner and their two daughters were present at the house, but they did not come across the thief.

The same day that the robbery at the home of Rosario took place, another similar assault was carried out at the home of the family of the Brazilian defender of PSG Marquinhos in the Paris region. For these facts, the French justice sentenced two men to five years in prison – three suspended – for one and seven years in jail for the other. A third person was acquitted.
