The Minister of Economy, sergio masatogether with the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Juan Jose Bahillo, received this Tuesday the heads of the Liaison Table to communicate a package of measures that aims to alleviate the situation of the producers affected by the drought.
Also participating in the meeting were Carlos Castagneto, head of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP); william michel, Head of the General Customs Administration (ANA); and Silvina Batakis, president of Banco Nación.
Massa claimed that “For the Government, the countryside is a central player in the economy, not only when it comes to helping us consolidate exports and being central players in global food policy, but also when discussing the problem and trying to lend a hand and use all the tools that the State has when we meet with agricultural producers in difficulties”, said the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa.

“All these measures represent an enormous effort by the National Government, but it is the result of work of different areas of the government at the dialogue table and work with the four entities of the Liaison Table plus two entities that also represent the producers.
