While there are 5,000 people without power, Edesur’s reimbursements begin due to the power outages in February

The summer, the heat wave and the energy generation deficit recognized by the same companies use miles of power outages throughout the metropolitan area. Edesur reported that there will be compensation for users that have experienced power outages. What will be the amounts to be compensated that will be reflected in the March invoice?

Users who have had cuts in February amounts in favor in the following invoice depending on the number of hours that have been without electricity.

For the cuts between 10 and 24 hours the bonus will be $1,451. Meanwhile, those who have suffered cuts between 24 and 48 hours, the approximate compensation will be $2,418. While, for the higher cases the bonus will be $3,385.

The compensation occurs after intimidation by the National Government through the ENRE. In addition, EDESUR is receiving a technical audit that will determine the capacity and reliability to provide the service.

The ENRE said that the task will be carried out by an interdisciplinary team led by a general coordinator, and at least three inspection teams, who will verify the processes of primary attention of claims, operation, management, corrective and preventive maintenance, investment planning, loss management and internal cost audits.
