While US stocks are down, Treasuries advance

The actions score a drop on tuesday. The rebound in the second quarter was tempered by investor jitters in the face of testimony from Jerome Powell m.ace later in the week. Treasuries rose.

  • The MSCI World Index lost 0.5%

  • The euro was little changed at $1.0913
  • The British pound fell 0.2% to US1.2762
  • The Japanese yen rose 0.4% to 141.46 per dollar

cryptocurrencies

  • Bitcoin rose 4.8% to $28,005.8
  • Ether advanced 3% to US$1,782.94

bonds

  • The 10-year Treasury yield necessarily three basis points at 3.73%
  • Germany’s 10-year bond yield fell 11 basis points to 2.40%
  • The yield on UK 10-year bonds fell 15 basis points to 4.34%.

Raw Materials

  • West Texas Intermediate crude fell 1.8% to $70.50 a barrel
  • Gold futures fell 1.1% to $1,949.90 an ounce.
