With or without an audience: round trips between the Province and Racing through the inside of your bar

Soccer returned and violence also returned. The internship in the Racing bar brava, which includes three factions and which was deepened with arrests, fights and shots this summer, plus the delays of a leadership that celebrates the record of members and subscriptions, but did not react in time to guarantee its presence, caused Governor Axel Kicillof and his Security Minister, Sergio Berni, yesterday to disqualify the club from playing with the public tomorrow against Belgrano, in the Professional League debut.

There was more than one episode that led to this decision by the government of the province of Buenos Aires. It all started, possibly, when in November they raided the apartment of Leandro Paredes, the leader of Los pibes de Racing, the official faction of The Imperial Guard, as the violent men who ran the Cilindro tribune are historically known.

In that raid, carried out due to the ambush of Deportivo Cali bars, Paredes was found a firearm, several cell phones, two million pesos and seven thousand dollars. Paredes was imprisoned and from that moment on, his leadership began to be disputed. Who assumed this role were Matías Alfonzo, nicknamed Cara De Paty, and Darío Barzola, alias Gamuza.

These two men also belong to Los pibes de Racing, the group born and raised in Villa Corina, a neighborhood of Avellaneda. Both took command just when the season ended, but that was enough for them to get on and command the thirty bars that went to Abu Dhabi to support the team in the final of the Al Ain International Super Cup, against Boca.

According to what PROFILE found out, Cara de Paty began to boast on that millionaire trip – that no one dares to say who paid – of his brand new leadership and to question Paredes for a lack of money from the many illegal collections that the bar has . That circulated quickly in the group and Paredes ended up going to look for him at the Ezeiza Airport. The fight was neutralized by the Airport Security Police, but it signaled an alert to the Security and Aprevide authorities.

That brawl was replicated, with shots, during the early hours of Tuesday in Villa Corina. Aprevide reported that the police detained three adults and two minors who belonged to the official faction. They put what they found on a Chevrolet: a revolver, two replica gun-type replicas, a portable handy, a knife, and a bottle of pellets.

Everything became more complex due to a series of threats and confrontations between Cara de Paty’s group and those from Dock Sud, who led the bar before Paredes was in charge. With Paredes temporarily marginalized, and warned of the inmate of the Villa Corina group, the Docke sector began to associate people and wanted to recover what they had lost years ago, when Raúl Escobar, alias the Fat Egg, historical head of the Imperial Guard, He stopped going to the field for the right of admission.

Those are the reasons why the provincial government dedicated that it be played without an audience, something that the Avellaneda commissioner Jorge Couceiro reported in a letter to President Victor Blanco. Last night, at the close of this edition, the Racing board of directors and the mayor Jorge Ferraresi were trying to convince Berni that, with the list of violent people handed over to Aprevide, he would change his decision and not harm the 50,000 people who want to see their team after three months.

Gago: reinforcements and Paolo

Before the decision made by the officials of the province, the Racing coach, Fernando Gago, analyzed the present of the club after the titles obtained, decided not to confirm the team for the debut against Belgrano and gave details of how the brand new reinforcement is. Pablo Guerrero. “I am satisfied with the transfer market, but we will see if any other option appears and we will evaluate it. I gave the leaders a list of all the players they wanted, both those that could be done and those that were impossible, for which an attempt was also made but the context of the country makes it difficult to incorporate players, ”said the DT in a conference.

Regarding Guerrero, he clarified: “I intend to have it before the Libertadores start. He is going to do a normal preseason for a player who is coming off a two-month inactivity”.
