‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ Documentary Sets Netflix Release Date

One of Netflix’s biggest chances of winning best picture at the Oscars in the coming weeks is All calm on the west front is getting the documentary treatment with the document being released on February 20, 2023.

According to the presentation page for the documentary, directed by Ingo Becker, here’s what you can expect from the documentary, which runs just under 18 minutes.

“Go behind the scenes of Edward Berger’s World War I epic and see how the cast and crew created its stunning authenticity, from the sets to the SFX prosthetics.”

Documentary filmmaking is generally reserved for the biggest and best in the Netflix library. Titles that have received the treatment in previous months and years include 1899, pinocchio, The Queen’s Gambit, Heterodox, athenaand The Wizard.

Suppose you can’t wait for the documentary feature to be added to Netflix. In that case, you can now watch the full streaming documentary on Netflix’s “I still watch netflix”, which at the time of publication has more than 368,000 views.

Expect to see a lot of Netflix posts on All quiet on the western front in the coming weeks as Netflix ramps up its campaign for the film in hopes that Oscar voters will give the film as many awards as possible.

In case you didn’t know, the film contributed to nearly half of Netflix’s 16 total Oscar nominations. It is the second most nominated film (behind Everything Everywhere All At Once) with nominations in the following categories:
