Chilean midfielder Arturo vidal today he targeted his ex-coach in flamencothe Argentinian Jorge Sampaoliand called it a “loser”.
Vidal, who debuted tonight at Atlético Paranaense, assured: “I was always in a position to play but I had a lost coach who does not know how to value the players“.
“Now I hope to show all the good I did in my career“, he continued Vidal after adding minutes in the 2-0 victory over Bahía.
Vidal used this week with paranaense for six months and will seek to win the Libertadores Cup with his new club.
The Chilean midfielder declared at the time that Sampaoli was one of the best coaches in the world, but in recent weeks he had already expressed his nonconformity: “I feel one hundred percent. I do not agree with the decision of the coaching staff, but I respect it. We have 22 players at a good level. You know that when I’m in the starting XI I give my best.”
The truth is that the destinations of the trans-Andean midfielder and the Argentine DT will go their separate ways despite having shared several years in the red where they traveled together Brazil World Cup 2014 and champions of the America’s Cup 2015.
