Back to 15 (Back Years) will return for a third season on Netflix. The announcement comes just under two weeks after its second season debuted on Netflix.
First released in February 2022, back to 15 is the comedy series that sees Anita (played by Camila Queiroz) fed up with life and finds a way to transport her life back to her 15-year-old self (played by Maisa Silva) and relive her high school years.
Perhaps indicative of its success, the show even managed to land a spot on Netflix TUDUM 2023 ahead of its season 2 premiere, where a new trailer was featured. Even though the live event took place in Brazil, it was one of the few international shows to play.

Netflix Brazil confirmed the show’s return on Twitter on July 17, 2023, suggesting that we need to take another time jump to 2009 in the third season.

Maisa Silva and Camila Queiroz were tagged in the Tweet, suggesting that they will both return for Season 3.
The author of the book on which the show is based, Bruna Vieira, celebrated the news in a Tweet (translated into English), “TODAY I woke up feeling renewed, and you?
how popular is it back to 15 season 2 on netflix?
Well, globally, it doesn’t seem like a huge success, given that it’s only performed in Netflix’s global top 10 for a total of two weeks so far, with season 2 racking up 7.9 million hours watched between the 2nd. and on July 9. . That’s noticeably less than half the hours Season 1 handled in its first week on the service in early 2022.
If we look more granularly, we can see that the program works best in its home country of Brazil (through Flix Patrol), where it has appeared in the daily top 10 since the launch of season 2, although at press time it had fallen to the sixth most-watched show.
This is one of the few titles from Brazil that received new season orders at press time. tune has been renewed for season 4 due to launch on July 25 and good morning veronica due to return for a third season.
