Bayern Munich congratulated River and Demichelis for the title in the Professional League

Through their social networks, Bayern Munich Happy this Saturday to River for coming out champions in the Professional League, and especially to Martín Demichelis, former player of that institution and also with a past as a coach in the reserve teams of the European colossus.

That of Bayern Munich is a fundamental stage in the career of Demichelis, who not only piled up local titles, but was part of the squad that was runner-up in the 2009-2010 Champions League, losing in the final against Inter Milan.

“We are very pleased to see that this path full of successes continues. Many congratulations ‘Micho’ and to all the fans of @RiverPlate for this league title”wrote the club, on its official Twitter account.

With the German team, Demichelis won a total of eleven titles: he won the Bundesliga four times, the League Cup twice, the German Cup four times and the German Super Cup once.

At the end of his time as a player, Demichelis returned to Germany, where he began his career as a coach, directing the youth divisions. This is how River’s call came in 2022 to replace none other than Marcelo Gallardo.
