Camila Gómez Ares spoke about the expectations for the World Cup: “We dream of passing the phase”

Camila Gomez Aressteering wheel university of conception of Chile, made it clear that the Argentine national team is excited with a great participation in the Women’s World Cup Australia-New Zealand 2023.

“Obviously nervous, anxious, wanting to be therethe first match arrives and we are very happy”, said the soccer player before leaving for Auckland, New Zealand, to join her teammates from the national team.

Hopefully we can achieve both objectives: win a game and, why not, dream of going through the phase”added.

Besides, Gomez Ares thanked the affection of the people, who filled the San Nicolás stadium in the last friendly against Peruat the farewell before world: “It was a sign of the affection and support that the Argentine has for us. It is something very nice because we are going to be far away. Knowing that there will be many people here who are going to stay awake or he’s going to get up at dawn to see us, he makes us feel that very nice affection. We’re going to need it a lot.”
