A policewoman and her partner, a retired security force agent, were victims of a robbery while shopping in a hypermarket from the southern area of the city of Córdoba. The sum of everything that was taken from them reaches half a million pesos.
Everything happened “between 7:15 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.” this Thursday, the daughter of the police officers told CORDOBA PROFILE. The vehicle was parked in the beach of the hypermarket. While they made purchases, the thieves took a significant amount of merchandise that the police had previously purchased to sell in their family business.
The owners had gone to the supermarket before returning to Guatimozin, the town in the Marcos Juárez department, where they are from.
From inside the Toyota Corolla they also stole belongings, such as jackets, a complete mate team and official documentation from the Cordoba Police. They also stole the spare tire and $90,000 in cash.
Among the belongings that were taken was a debit card. After the escape, the thieves made purchases in other stores, “before 8:30 p.m.”, for a total of $195,000, according to the complaint filed in Judicial Unit 7.
“Money was transferred to a virtual wallet and purchased at the Belgrano de Alto Alberdi club store”, recounted the daughter of the victims.
According to his testimony, the thieves took a flash drive with important information from the Córdoba Police and two keys to the padlock of the Guatimozin police station.
