It is one of the most wonderful times of the year. The year is coming to a close and Christmas is right around the corner, but perhaps most importantly, Spotify has launched its Spotify Wrapped feature. The format would work fine with Netflix, but does Netflix have its own Wrapped feature? It is not the answer.

If you are not familiar, Spotify wrapped lets you recap your Spotify usage over the past year, where it provides information on things like the number of minutes you’ve listened to and the most streamed genres, artists, and songs.

He is praised as a excellent marketing campaign that dominates social media with people sharing their own personal stats. A executive at spotify He called it “the magic of marrying madness with mathematics.”

Naturally, Netflix would be a good fit for this format, but in its history, it has yet to officially offer a service.

Would it be nice to know that you’ve seen again Strange things season 4 20 times throughout 2022 or so The crown Was season 5 your fasting binge?

Officially in 2022, Netflix once again currently doesn’t provide any way to summarize what you’ve watched over the past year. Despite the streamer often rushing to develop new ideas in the app, like the quick laughs feature or the breakneck speed implementing a level of ads in 2022, a feature never came wrapped up.

There are some alternatives to Netflix Wrapped

There are two third-party sources for getting your own Netflix Wrapped.

the big one is the chrome extension which runs on your desktop and provides you with a breakdown of your yearly statistics.

According to the extension page, the tool allows you to view:

  • Hours viewed per month
  • Hours watched by day of the week
  • Content Rating Breakdown
  • gender breakdown

It was recently updated on September 7, 2022 to allow you to see all of your 2022 stats.

Kapwing was the second choice to get his own Netflix Wrapped. The video editing and digital storytelling company launched the tool in 2021 but sadly, at the time of publication, it currently only works for 2021 data.

It works by download your viewing activity in a CSV and upload it to your site.

Unfortunately it only supports 2021 data at this time. A representative for Kapwing has informed What’s on Netflix that they “currently have no plans to update it for 2022.”

If you want a quick hack until they release a 2022 version, you can open your CSV, remove all dates from last year, and change the dates from 2022 to 2021.
