Eight people found dead in Utah home

Eight people, five of them minors, were found dead in a southwestern Utah home with what authorities described Wednesday as apparent gunshot wounds.

Their bodies were discovered when officers in Enoch City, 178 miles northeast of Las Vegas, conducted a welfare check, a city spokesperson said in a news release.

The victims have not been identified.

Authorities said there were no suspects at large and no threats to the public, according to the statement, adding that the investigation is continuing and more information will be released at a later date.
