Endangered Chinese sturgeon, according to state media

Reports from China ensure that the characteristic sturgeon fish of that country is very close to disappearing.

The state agency Xinhua reported that for the first time on record, no eggs were found in the Yangtze River and the youngest species have not been seen swimming out to sea.
