Flume announces its show in Argentina

Australian DJ and producer Harley Edward Streten, known throughout the world under his stage name Flume, made his return to Argentina on Wednesday, May 31 at the Obras Stadium with a production by DF Entertainment. The icon and precursor of the future bass had come in 2017, the year in which Lollapalooza closed with an electrifying show. In this reunion with the local public, he will be presenting his last two works, the album Palaces (2022) and the recently released mixtape Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan (2023). Flume is the author of three studio albums titled Flume (2016), Skin (which won the Grammy for Best Dance or Electronic Album in 2017) and Palaces, which was recorded during the pandemic. and featured collaborations with such notable artists as Damon Albarn and Caroline Polachek, and represented a thoughtful return to the nature of his native Australia. Additionally, he gained renown for performing remixes for artists such as Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude, and Disclosure.

His first mixtape Hi This Is Flume (2019) came out before the pandemic started and featured the participation of various collaborators, earning him another Grammy nomination. Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan is Flume’s second mixtape and came out as part of the tenth anniversary of her first album. It is the result of the artist’s long journey of experimentation, who composed the ten hitherto unpublished songs between 2012 and 2021. Three of the songs feature contributions from Injury Reserve, Isabella Manfredi and Panda Bear.

In this opportunity, Flume will pass through Buenos Aires on a tour that will also take him to the United States and Brazil.
