True Blood is a fantasy horror drama series created by Alan Ball and based on the novels The Southern Vampire Mystery by Charlaine Harris. At its peak, the series had more than 5 million viewers. The series had a total of 7 seasons and 80 episodes between 2008 and 2014.

At the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards, the series won the award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama. In 2008, Anna Paquin won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Television Series.
The series is set in the fictional Renard Parish, Louisiana, in the city of Bon Temps, where two years earlier, vampires made their presence known to humanity after the creation of the synthetic blood product True Blood.
Anna Paquin stars as Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress who, after meeting 174-year-old vampire Bill Compton (played by Stephen Moyer), finds herself drawn into the dangerous world of vampires.
At the time of writing, Netflix has not announced a release date for the release of True Blood.
We hope the series will hit Netflix sooner rather than later, however all we can do for now is wait.
As far as we know True Blood it is only scheduled to be released on Netflix internationally and will not hit the US library.
Plans may change in the near future, but for now, True Blood It will remain exclusively on HBO Max.
