Holding: a wonderful policeman that takes place in a town where nothing ever happens (until it does).

The name of graham norton sounds familiar, right? Yes, the host of his own show on the BBC who has spent decades interviewing the main stars of show business in his red chair. With that mischievous and carefree humor that he has, he is also the author of a couple of novels, which have just been released in AcornTV a miniseries: Tenure.

Graham Norton.

It is a story police is four episodes full of that characteristic humor of Norton, which is reflected both in the dialogues and in the situations and in the plot. The action takes place in Duneen, a small Irish town where nothing ever happens. He lives there a few years ago p.j. collins, a fat, quiet policeman who fills his days with junk food while mediating between the neighbors (the most colorful characters you can imagine).

And nothing ever happens… until it happens: while they are digging on a farm to build chalets for tourists human bones are found. The cemetery is not there. And PJ has no choice but to deploy her police skills. Fortunately sends from cork, the nearest capital, not official to conduct the investigation. another character. But the truth is that the local policeman, with his good manners and patience, the mystery is unraveling.

For that, he will have to deal with his occasional partner, who has settled in the (small) house where he lives, unravel the tangle of relationships between the villagers, whose personal stories he knows little about (to which he is told that he would thus provide a fresh look) and ends up unwinding a huge spiral of complications and involvement, while falling in love.

He main character he’s adorable, somewhere between Father Brown and the quiet but observant cop at McDonald and Dodds. Played by Conleth Hill, who we saw in game of Throneswe can even see the inner struggle of this peaceful man.

and the whole series filmed in natural settings, a wonderful blockbuster not to miss, have fun, entertain yourself and play at being investigators, elucidating who is to blame along with the policeman.
