Inspections continue at La Bombonera to define whether to lift the closure of one of its stands

After the dispute of the match between Boca Juniors and Atlético Tucumán for the first date of the professional league, Justice precisely the closure of one of the stands of the La Bombonera Stadium due to an excess of fans who attended this match. During the day of this Monday, the officials of the Government Agency of the Buenos Aires sports government returned to inspect the venue to determine if they lift the closure of this scenario.

According to the Public Ministry, the Blue and Gold cadre has not presented “the dynamic load tests or the security measures requested by the experts”. A fact that leaves the immediate future of this sector of the stadium, which houses approximately five thousand people, in uncertainty.

On the other hand, the official entity confirms that on January 25 and 27 the Xeneize team submitted reports on the requested measures that were dismissed by the Prosecutor’s Office because these studies are incomplete and do not have the signature of a registered person. “Until today, no official or responsible expert has submitted said signed report stating that the platform was found suitable to be enabled.”

What is missing for the Public Ministry to re-enable the La Bombonera rostrum?

The experts will have to make a new tour where it will be ratified, by means of a report, if the closure of the Superior Tribune is lifted. This document should clarify whether it is in good condition or whether the disqualification is maintained.

Confirmation of new developments in this regard is awaited. For now, Boca’s professional squad is thinking about Platense, a rival they will be facing next Sunday, February 19.
