Instituto and Belgrano, millions to play for Kempes

There are many internal debates in the Institute. And in every discussion someone pulls out a calculator. Perhaps to help understand that in addition to passion there are millions at stake.

Due to the recent change in the technical leadership of the club, They are going to wait for the position of the brand new DT Diego Dabove, but they clarify that it is one more vote, important but not definitive.

Instituto is not going through a good present in the Professional League Cup and must start thinking about incorporations. Managers who support the idea of going to Kempes stress that this money can be useful for many issues, including strengthening the squad. The points in the next 14 dates are key, final.

On Belgrano’s side, they are also waiting expectantly. If they go to Kempes, the “Pirate” will take a part of the proceeds.

What the regulation says

The AFA regulation indicates that the visiting clubs take a percentage of the proceeds, so in this case Belgrano would carry out an interesting sum.

“It was provided that those matches in which the sale to the public visitor is authorized, the team that acts in this capacity corresponds to 20% of that produced exclusively by the sale of tickets to their partiality; the pertinent deductions being made on said amount”, indicates bulletin 5590 of AFA.

Once it is confirmed that the classic will be played at the Kempes, the price of the tickets and the amount that there will be for the Belgrano public will be known. But everything indicates that the Celeste will be given a popular one (the Artime) and at least a part of the Ardiles audience (the historic cover).

How much are we talking about

Let’s do the math. It is estimated that some 57 thousand souls can enter the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium.

The priority is the partners. Taking into account that the Institute has approximately 30,000, the Gasparini stalls (19,000) and the Willington (11,000) could reach.

The popular Artime and the Ardiles audience are the remaining ones to distribute in case they said they were playing with the two fans.

We are adding 27 thousand more locations to sell and collect. Some 11,000 pirates who decided to pay a general fee of $9,000 would be around a collection of $100 million. If we add the stalls at an estimated cost of $12,000 each, another $190 million can be added.

So, the Alta Córdoba club could be “counting” that the first week of July it would find $300 million.

20% of that must be shared with Belgrano.
