the argentinian coach Marcelo Bielsa finally met with the leadership of the Federation mexican soccer (FMF), as one of the candidates to replace his compatriot Gerardo Martin as coach of the national team of that country.
In this context, until a few hours ago it seemed that the chosen one was going to emerge among miguel herrera and the Uruguayan William souldbut bielsa joined forcefully as a candidate, as published by the website Halftime.
the rosarino bielsa became interested in the Mexican project and decided to meet in the next few days with Rodrigo Ares de snappergeneral sports director of the FMF.
The first contacts occurred a few weeks ago, when Grupo Pachuca looked for bielsa and, although in the first instance it seemed that the situation would not prosper, everything took a turn in favor of the Argentine, who made it clear his interest in directing Mexico instead of daddy martin.
Faced with this situation, the Mexican leaders have preferred to take restraint in the choice of coach, so they will meet with Bielsa, who has just rejected an offer from Everton English, to know your work plan.
