Metallica released a song about suicide

heavy metal band metallic presented the second single from his new record work -72 Seasons- in which they deal with a taboo subject: suicide.

Is about screaming suicideAs the famous heavy metal band said in a statement, the song addressed the suicide taboo and its intention is communicate the darkness that is sometimes felt inside, and “it is ridiculous to think that we should deny that we have these thoughts.”

“In one way or another, I think most people have thought about suicide. Facing it is talking about the unsaid. If it is a human experience, we should be able to talk about it without fear. You are not alone,” the group’s message continued.

Metallica’s new album

A few months ago, Metallica announced that they will release a new album in April 2023, called 72 stations. This is the first album by the famous heavy metal band since 2016 (when they released Hardwired… to Self-Destruct).

The first single from the album was presented at the end of November 2022 and was called “Lux Eterna”.

About the new album James Hetfield, The band’s lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter explained that it is about “the first 18 years of our lives that make up our true or false selves. The concept that our parents told us who we are.”
