One of two Sony movies coming to Netflix US this weekend via Sony’s first window deal is Missing by ScreenGems.
Directed by Storm Reid, the thriller follows a girl who tracks down her mother through technology after she goes missing, but also discovers her secrets.
Rated Certified Fresh in rotten tomatoes, the critics’ consensus was that the film “may stretch credulity in its efforts to keep the audience guessing, but a brisk pace and relatable fears keep this twisted techno-thriller from losing its way entirely. ”
This movie is not available on Netflix’s advertising level.
