Three titles you might have missed on Netflix this week

Copenhagen cowboy (Season 1)

Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for artists like the neon demon Y Handle, returns for his first Danish production in over a decade. The new crime thriller series follows a young heroine named Miu who travels through the criminal underworld of Copenhagen.

It’s weird, it’s quirky, and it’s a must-watch for fans of Refn’s previous works and if you’re looking for an international crime drama that isn’t afraid to rock the boat.

MADOFF: The Monster of Wall Street (Limited Series)

Joe Berlinger is one of the biggest documentary producers right now and he’s back on Netflix with a four-part docuseries taking a look at the biggest ponzi scheme in history run by Bernie Madoff.

Through extensive interviews and re-enactments, you will be able to see how Bernie became the King of Wall Street and how it all came crashing down and what the consequences were.

The Mindy Project (Seasons 1-6)

If you’re looking for a long binge, Netflix has picked up all six seasons of Mindy Kaling’s fan-favorite comedy series. Kaling is best known for her time in The office and is behind Netflix I have never.

Here’s what you can expect if you check it out:

“In an effort to straighten out her complicated personal life, a top doctor seeks to overcome her obsession with rom-coms and find a soul mate.”

It’s also an interesting addition as it’s the first Hulu Original to hit Netflix in the US (although not the first internationally).
