To some, it may seem like Dungeons & Dragons was only in theaters. Well, they would be correct! The movie was released at the end of March and was still in some theaters as of early June. The turnaround has been rapid, but fans of the epic board game who didn’t get a chance to go to the theater can now watch the movie from the comfort of their own home.
“A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to recover a lost relic, but things go dangerously wrong when they stumble upon the wrong people. Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary role-playing game to the big screen in a hilarious, action-packed adventure.”
Director: jon watts
Gender: Action, Adventure, Science Fiction | Execution time: 133 minutes
Cast: Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau
Starting Tom Holland’s trilogy in the iconic red and blue suit was huge for the MCU. Despite still being in Sony’s hands, a compromise was struck between Sony and Marvel Studios to bring the web wonder to the MCU for his own movie.
“Peter Parker balances his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with his superhero alter ego Spider-Man, and finds himself on the trail of a new threat prowling the skies of New York City, the Vulture.”
Director: James Cameron
Gender: Drama, Period, Romance | Execution time: 194 minutes
Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher
Still one of the greatest love stories in movie history, however, recent events may suggest why Titanic has found its way back to the Netflix Canada library.
“A seventeen-year-old aristocrat falls in love with a kind but poor artist aboard the ill-fated luxurious RMS Titanic.”
