Virgin River season 5 is right around the corner, and ahead of its expected fall 2023 release (hopefully confirmation imminent), Netflix has released over a dozen new images for the upcoming season, providing a window into what we can expect from the upcoming season.
The release date of virgin river Season 5 has been a contentious topic, as we’ve covered in our main preview. The show was first confirmed in Netflix’s fall 2023 announcement initial filing. TUDUM’s official site later set the release date for September 7, which several cast members and showrunner debunked. Alexandra Breckenridge has since teased that the show will premiere in September.
As we recently teased, thanks to the release of the episode titles for the upcoming season, it looks like a fire is on the horizon for the new season, which will run for 12 episodes.
Key plot points from Season 5 include Hope’s recovery, Paige’s current situation with Vince, Christopher and Preacher, Brie and Bardy’s relationship, and Doc’s devastating diagnosis.
We’ll also be getting plenty of new characters, plus returning favorites Lauren Hammersley, Alexandra Breckenridge, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Colin Lawrence, and more.
Of course, virgin river It also received a season 6 renewal order. It was originally expected to start production this month (July 2023), but things have been put on hiatus due to the writers and now actors strike.
