Welcome to your weekly roundup of the biggest stories from Netflix’s top 10 hourly figures for the week ending June 11, 2023.

Every Tuesday, Netflix updates its Top 10 Stats page with 40 new figures per hour for the top movies and shows from the past seven days. If you want to easily browse the top 10 hourly data, visit our tool.

Note: In this report of Netflix hours viewed from June 5, 2023 to June 11, 2023, we will use “Full View Equivalent” or CVE, expressed in millions. That means we divide the hours watched advertised by Netflix by the running time of the movies or series. It allows for better comparisons between movies and series, but it is not an audience metric. It is the minimum number of viewings if they were all complete from the first second to the last of the movie or season.

I have never He returns strong for his final season.

the fans of I have never they were there for the launch of their final season with 15.5 million CVEs in the first four days, an improvement over the season 2 launch and quite similar to the season 3 launch. A nice landing for the series that now it will be a mainstay on home pages for years to come as a hit teen sitcom.

Never Have I Ever Season 4 Performance vs Season 3 & 2

Mother earns a spot in the Top 10 of all time.

Mother it finished its first 28-day run at sixth on the all-time top 10 list, and when converted to CVE, the film also had the sixth-best launch for any Netflix film during its first 28 days with 120 million CVEs. that’s better than Extractionbut Extraction 2 is right around the corner, and that could quickly return to an all-time high.

The Mother vs. Other Netflix Movie Hits

hounds makes an average pitch for a South Korean series.

South Korean series are quite common on Netflix, but the pattern is always the same (slash squid game either we are all dead) with average throws and hounds continues that trend with just 3.5M CVE through its first three days.

We could hope for a better second week as the series is well reviewed.

FUBAR will (probably) return.

14 days after your launch, it’s time to check back with by FUBAR performance and so far doing well with 27.9 million CVEs after 14 days. As you can see in this chart highlighting US Netflix series that have been renewed or cancelled, FUBAR (and XO, kitty, for the rest) swim in very favorable waters, and both should be renewed soon. Speaking of FUBARArnold Schwarzenegger was also the star of a docu-series about his life, and at just 7.7 million CVEs after five days, that’s good enough to be the 10th best launch for a Netflix docu-series, but it’s also feels pretty normal.

Arnold vs. Other Netflix Documentary Series

Tour de France: Unleashed it is a non-starter.

In 2023, Netflix has released three high-profile sports docuseries so far: breaking point about tennis, fully operational about golf and Tour de France: Unchained about the famous French cycling race.

Of those three, breaking point and Tour de France: Unchained missed the charts during its first week (and fully operational didn’t exactly work wonders). If these releases are supposed to gauge subscriber interest in sports, let’s just say it’s not very promising, as Netflix is apparently embarking on live sports with a golf competition.
