New record: Lionel Messi scored the fastest goal of his career

this Thursday, Lionel Messi broke a new CD staff when dialing the fastest goal of his career after converting the 1-0 of the Argentine national team against Australia at the minute of play.

The captain of the Albiceleste scored a great goal against the 72 seconds from outside the area in the friendly that was played in Beijing, China, and added a new mark shortly after turning 36. In the record of his magnificent career it will be that on June 15, 2023 at the Beijing Workers’ Stadium he scored the fastest goal of his career at one minute and 19 seconds.

Until today, Messi had converted a goal with Barcelona at the two minutes and 7 seconds of the first half against Chelsea in 2018. With Argentina the earliest had been against Nigeria in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil at two minutes and 26 seconds.

In Messi’s last 15 games with the national team, he participated in 29 scoring chances: score 22 points and I toast seven assists. He only did not contribute by scoring or assisting in the match against Poland for the group stage of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
