We are just a few weeks away from being able to dip back into the Outer Banks and spend more time with the adorable pogues. Today we report on the episode titles of the upcoming third season.
The trailer, released on February 1, reveals plenty of romance and high-octane action.
According to Netflix, here’s what to expect going into season three:
“Season 3 finds the Pogues washed ashore on a deserted island that, for a brief moment, seems like an idyllic home. Officially dubbed “Pogueland,” the island’s newer residents spend their days fishing, swimming, and enjoying the carefree lifestyle of their temporary home. But things quickly go south for John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ and Cleo as they find themselves caught once again in a race for treasure, literally running for their lives. They’re broke and far from home, they can’t trust anyone, Ward and Rafe are hungry for revenge, and there’s a ruthless Caribbean Don who will stop at nothing to find his reward. Was the treasure ever within your reach? Or was it all a trap to stop them once and for all? Either way, it’s the Pogues against the world, and the only way out is together.”
This new season will see several directorial debuts and also returning writers and directors. Gonzalo Amat is making his directorial debut on the show, having previously worked on many episodes as a cinematographer. Darnell Martin will return to the director’s chair for the third time, and Valerie Weiss also returns.
