Pale performance by Belgrano: lost to Platense

Belgrano had a pale performance against Platense and fell 1-0 on his visit to Vicente López on date 18 of the Professional League. The ‘Pirate’ has gone three games without winning, but this defeat hurts Alberdi, since he did it against a team that did very little for the victory. But Guillermo Farré’s men never found game circuits to reverse the game.

The ‘Celeste’ has 28 units in the tournament and will receive a visit from Vélez Sarsfield on the next date. Belgrano urgently longs for ‘Caco’ Sánchez to recover. He needs it, and a lot.

From the locker room. Nicolás Servetto, three minutes into the game, opened the scoring for the locals. The striker, with a header, made it 1-0, taking advantage of a defensive inattention by ‘Pirata’. It seemed offside. However, he was in the same vein as Compagnucci who was slow to come out.

What Celeste produced in the first stage was weak, beyond starting the game losing. Center abuse. All poorly executed. As an example, it is worth turning to the statistics: he shot 15 centers and none had their own recipient. Pablo Vegetti went, went, went and went, but there was no one who proposed a neat action for his offensive.

Ulises Sánchez was the most active (again), he was the one who tried to be a generator of societies, the one who seeks to solve some aspects of the game’s gear.

And the trend continued: every time Belgrano got the first goal, he ended up losing.

The plugin had no shine. At times it was mediocre, except for some brushstrokes by Taborda for the ‘Brown’. The ‘Pirate’ was not able to generate danger in the ‘Squid’ defense. Except for the end of the game, with more pride than the game attacked Macagno, who was attentive and kept the goal at zero. Platense dedicated himself to defending his difference and with little, very little, he beat Guillermo Farré’s team.

The ‘Celeste’ fell on his visit to Platense. He didn’t play well. Bruno Zapelli, the most talented of the team, was far from the best version of him. He failed over and over again. And if he doesn’t play, plus the absence of ‘Caco’ Sánchez, Belgrano has a hard time. Zapelli had no partners.

The percentage of passes well done in Belgrano was 53 percent. A whole sample of the imprecision of the ‘B’ players. Although, it is also worth noting the very poor condition of the playing field.

Game circuits, changes of speed, homogeneity in the game… none of that happened and he abused the centers, all poorly made (the percentage of well-made centers from ‘B’ was 35 percent). At 36 minutes he had the first action with Hesar and at 43′ a cross from Ulises Sánchez and Pablo Vegetti, the one who never fails, failed: he did not head well.

Little, little and nothing in Vicente López. It was pure will. But the will failed.
