Paolo Guerrero arrived in Argentina: “I’m happy to be in Racing”

this Monday Paolo Guerrero arrived in Buenos Aires to become a new Racing player. The experienced Peruvian goalscorer will have a medical examination tomorrow and will stamp his signature.

The forward was going to carry out the medical examinations in the afternoon, but it was finally postponed until this Tuesday morning. As soon as he arrived in the country, he stated: “I have to get to work and I’m happy to be in Racing”.

And I add: “The Copa Libertadores motivates me, it is the biggest goal”. He also assured that he spoke with the coach: “Talk to (Ferdinand) Gago and told me his intentions. I need to prepare myself and have a pre-season, like everyone else.”

Due to his age (39 years old) and the inactivity he had during the last part of 2022, the doctors will do an intense analysisand in the event that the attacker passes them normally, he will sign his link with Racing for a season, with a contract for productivity.
