Paris Saint-Germain will reinforce the security of Lionel Messi and Neymar after the protest of the fans

There are no quiet days in the paris saint germain which was eliminated early Champions League and of the French Cup and that although he is the leader of the league 1his consecration in the local league hangs by a thread and the French fans called themselves to protest.

On Wednesday afternoon, several fans of the psg is stored in front of the clubhouse in Boulogne-Billancourt to express his dissatisfaction with the club’s results, insulting some players such as Lionel Messi, neymar and Marco Verrattiin addition to the technician Christopher Galtier.

After these protests by a group of fans of the French team in front of the gates of the Camp de Loges and the homes of these footballers, from the club to reinforce security both in the training center and in the residences of each of the targeted.

The demonstrators dispersed “quietly a few minutes after their arrival”, without “any willingness to confront the police”, the witnesses highlighted.

The fans’ frustration with the club’s stars, led by Messi and Neymar, has been palpable for some time, especially after the Champions League eliminations (eighth against real Madrid in 2022 and also eighth against Bayern Munich in 2023) and even more with the Argentine star after his World Cup consecration against France in Qatar 2022.

“Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest terms the intolerable and insulting acts of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday,” the club reacted through an official statement.

“Whatever the discrepancies, nothing can justify such acts. The club gives its full support to its players, its management and all the people affected by these shameful behaviours,” the statement continued.

These events occurred three days after the defeat against the Lorient in it Princes Park (3-1), the Parisian club’s third in the last four home games.
