Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta decided that there will be a “single candidate” for head of the Buenos Aires government

The two pre-candidates for PRO presidents, Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, They published a statement this Monday, May 15, in which they reported a series of agreements that they reached in the last few hours. Between them, they decide that in the City of Buenos Aires there will be no STEP to elect candidates but a single candidate, which will be defined “by May fines”. “Both Jorge Macri and Fernan Quirós agree with this definition mechanism”, they assured.

“We met at a working breakfast and agreed on the following definitions,” begins the letter they released. Sources close to the leaders said that the meeting was at the house of the deputy Mary Eugenia Vidaland that it was she who organized the meeting “in pursuit of unity.”

“Our campaign teams will advance together on operational issues such as control of the election and ballots and a unique position of the PRO in relation to the incorporation of new political forces to Together for Change,” information in the statement.

The second agreement, they said, is that “there will be a single candidate for Head of Government of the City that represents the PRO. Both Jorge Macri and Fernan Quirós agree with this definition mechanism”.

The current Minister of Government, Jorge Macri, and the Minister of Health, Fernán Quirós, both officials of the Rodríguez Larreta administration, are the two options for possible candidates to compete and both agreed that the decision in this way, according to information.
