Racing Nueva Italia’s karma: not putting up with the result

The moment of Racing in the First National is very complex. The team led by Diego Pozo has not won 12 games (the last was on April 2, against Chaco For Ever, 2-0 in Nueva Italia). From that moment he only reaped troubles: 7 draws and 5 losses.

That Racing is not last in the table due to the very bad campaign that it has been developing (it won 4, drew 8 and lost 8) is explained by the terrible task that three other teams are coming: Villa Dálmine, Tristán Suárez and Chaco For Ever.

In addition to the concern for the present of the team, there is an extra fact that is added and that was accentuated in the last game against Atlético Rafaela: the team has not been able to maintain the advantage in a good part of the matches and that had an impact on a series of negative results that has Racing at the bottom of the table, at this point thinking more about maintaining the category than thinking about classifying the reduced for the second promotion.

Reviewing the Academy campaign, the team was winning 9 times and ended up drawing or losing:

-On the 5th date he beat Dálmine in Campana 1 or 0 and ended up losing 2 to 1.

-On the 7th date they beat Independiente Rivadavia in Mendoza, but the game ended 1-1.

-In the 10th day they beat Chacarita in the Sancho but they tied with 5 minutes to go.

-On date 11, he beat Tristán Suárez 2-0 after 34 minutes of the first half, but lost 3-2, due to a penalty converted on the hour (the coach at the time, Carlos Bossio, assured that this game represented a before and a later in the group, mainly
due to the downturn experienced by the team).

-On date 14, he beat Deportivo Riestra 1-0 and 2-1, and the game ended 2-2.

-On date 15 he beat Ferro 1-0 in Nueva Italia but they tied him after 46 minutes of the second half.

-On date 18 (beginning of the second round) they tied Brown de Adrogué, but Pablo Vicó’s team unbalanced on the hour and won 2-1.

-On date 19, they beat Estudiantes in Caseros but the match ended 1-1.

Last Sunday, against Atlético Rafaela at the Sancho, it was more of the same: they started losing, drew and went ahead twice (2-1 and 3-2), but a penalty taken 50 minutes into the second half lost the game. 3 to 3 finals.

Only three times did Racing stumble to turn around, or at least tie the game after starting off losing: against Deportivo Madryn (won 3-1) and against Miter and Atlanta (in both cases they started losing and the final result was 1-1). .

The coincidence between the coaching staff and the players is unanimous: “It is difficult for us to close the games. We create situations and we are scoring goals. But we need a bit to add three and get out of the position we are in”.

The revenge is just around the corner: next Saturday, July 8 at 3:00 p.m., they will face Deportivo Madryn, as a visitor, seeking to turn the losing streak around.
