Racing tied and has 12 games without victories

Racing de Nueva Italia equalized 3-3 against Atlético de Rafaela on date 20 of the First National, in a game with changing moods, controversial arbitration and very entertaining. The Academy has 12 games without wins.

During the first half, errors and shortcomings abounded. Both teams searched for the rival area. But that didn’t mean it was well played. A riot of limitations and errors were produced without ceasing. There were plenty of intentions, good intentions. The issue is that they failed to put them into effective action; and to that, in addition, we must add the wind. The albiceleste cast lost at that stage, not so much due to the virtues of the visiting cast, but rather due to their own blunders. At minute 31, a bad offensive decision by Méndez led to a run by Delgadillo, the pass back against a timid Racing defense that assisted Nicolás Laméndola’s shot from the front row to make it 0-1.

The team’s bad moment slipped in: with the fans’ patience exhausted, chants and insults arrived at the players, asking for more attitude. “Move, Racing, move, these fans are crazy, today we can’t lose…”, the claiming song was heard loudly. And: “put an egg, and Racing put an egg…”. And whistles and more whistles.

Do you want eggs? With that and also football, Franco Coronel, 3 minutes into the match, equality. He handsomed, evaded and defined crossed. Great goal and delirium in the Sancho. Precisely the most active and dangerous player of those led by Pozzo was rewarded
and four minutes later, in a counter with a volley shot from outside the area they modified a great goal and the gap for Racing, which changed insults for applause. Something happened in that training session in the locker room. The ‘academic’ footballers looked like another team in the second half, very different from the one in the first stage. With their shortcomings, but more firmly, more offensive, more firm in the divided ones. But, in soccer it is full of buts… But the errors go beyond the attitude and the game. And the errors arose again. At 17′, Claudio ‘Taca’ Bieler equalized with a header, due to a mistake by goalkeeper Matalia, who left it served to the experienced scorer.

However, Coronel was in a state of grace: after another long ball, at 30′ he made it 3-2. Everything was given to return to victory. But at 46′ the referee charged a dubious penalty. And at 49′ Bieler tied. Atlético de Rafaela rarely reached the goal of the ‘Acadé’, and it was effective, it helped due to the local defensive shortcomings.

Miguel Sancho vibrated, Racing continues without winning. There was an image change, but Pozzo has a lot of work ahead of him. The next appointment will be on Saturday, at 3:30 p.m., in the south of the country, against Deportivo Madryn.
