RadioProfile | Conscious decisions: tools to ease the way

Smart decisions make the road easier. The mind is our source, we make decisions from it.

We usually make decisions based on two types:

The statics, based on conditioning and beliefs.

The dynamicsthat arises from the connection with the present moment.

I will give you some examples of something that resonated with me these days, and that I hope you can apply to your own life.

As a Coach and Speaker, many times companies or people ask me for budgets to do corporate programs. Making a personal balance at the end of the year, I analyzed those work proposals in which he spent a lot of time and did not get the result, versus those in which he did.

What’s the difference then, based on this example, which I hope you’ll apply to your own:

static decisions: There are those who ask me for a proposal for something specific, they have not seen, connected or looked at my professional career. So the decision they make will be based on the meeting or meetings we have and the Proposal on paper or video that I send them. In addition to checking the number of followers in some cases, or whether or not I reside in the country. There is no connection to me or what I do. Their choice scheme is based on what they know and on comparing, based on what they know.

Dynamic Decisions: connect with something I do, be it a message, post or article. They go through my profile a bit and call me.

From somewhere in their being, they know that what I have to offer is what they need. They know it with their soul, with their heart, without ego.

An example of this was the response of a new client, who represents the leading insurance company in my country and the world, contacted me through a message on Linkedin, requested a quote, we met to see the scope, He never asked me to see anything more about mine. When I thanked her for the trust, she replied: “A pleasure, I doubted for a second that it was the right one for the closing event (full day)”

To be successful in what we do today, we must make more Dynamic Decisions and avoid Static Decisions.

Most people find it difficult to create successful situations because they put limits on how they are willing to act. Avoid risks.

They cling to old ways without testing whether it works for the new.

Restricted awareness, which is not the best way to face a challenge. And the worst way to be in the present.

To do?

  • Generate awareness of the present moment.

  • Generate daily moments of pause.

  • It’s a process, you don’t have to do it overnight, because that’s part of who we are.

  • Negotiate with your static self and walk towards your dynamic self.
