The well-known and remembered radio and television author was the maker of several of the most important television fictions in Argentina.

Felipe Alberto Miletari Miagro was born on September 12, 1931 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

His relationship with the media began at a very young age, he participated as an actor in different radio plays and at only 15 years old he wrote his first script, a play for Radio Libertad that was performed by actress Chela Ruiz.

Already known by his stage name, Alberto Migré consolidated his career during the 1950s, standing out along with other authors of the theatrical genre such as Abel Santa Cruz and Alma Bressan.

In the 1960s, he made his debut as a television scriptwriter and gained enormous popularity working on various unitaries that were praised by the public.

In March 1972 he wrote for Channel 13 what is considered his masterpiece and one of the most popular soap operas in the history of Argentine television: Rolando Rivas Taxi Driver.

The fiction tells the story of a Buenos Aires taxi driver, starring Claudio García Satur, who meets Mónica Helguera Paz on a trip, a role played by Soledad Sylveira.

Alberto Migré wrote more than 700 scripts for radio and television, standing out among his many hits titles such as “Pobre Diabla”, “Piel Naranja” and “Una voz en el teléfono”.

He was the maker of soap operas that conquered audiences for several generations and remained active as a scriptwriter and producer until 2004, when he was elected president of Argentores.

He died at the age of 74 as a result of cardiac arrest.

Illustrious Citizen of the City of Buenos Aires, the name of Alberto Migré will be forever linked to Argentine television.
