Record: Liniers scored the fastest goal in the history of Argentine football

The striker of the Liniers club, Julián Rodríguez Seguer, scored the fastest goal in Argentine soccer in just four seconds in the 1-0 win against JJ Urquiza in the Primera C tournament, the fourth category of national promotion.

This Saturday, the attacker of the club that is second in the C standings behind Claypole, scored the only goal of the game after four seconds after a pass from Joel Torres at the kick-off and a shot from the striker from midfield that went on target and bounced past the goal line.

Prior to Rodríguez Seguer’s goal, the soccer player from Acassuso Luis Torres had converted the fastest score, in 1996, playing for the First D, fifth and last division of Argentine soccer. As for the First Division, Carlos Seppaquercia He set the same record after five seconds but for the highest category in a 1-1 draw against Huracán in 1979.
