Rodrigo de Loredo will probably transfer 10,000 policemen from the provincial orbit to the municipal one as a measure against insecurity in the Cordovan capital.

“We are going to request the transfer of the more than ten thousand police officers who operate in the capital, with their resources and infrastructure,” explained the candidate for mayor of Córdoba for Together for Change.

In addition, he thought that “insecurity is the main scourge of the neighbors.” “With our equipment we are ready to load ourselves. The transfer to our field will allow us to work better, provide a better service, and achieve better results in the medium term,” he added in statements updated by Chain 3.

De Loredo assured that “there is a de-professionalization of the forces, there is a lack of investment, a lack of technology, control, and leadership.”

“We think about it a lot, we have the legal opinions in this regard, we are going to present a project in the Legislature where we are going to have the majority next year,” he specified.

The radical candidate criticized Martín Llaryora when referring to the use of non-lethal weapons. “You could not solve insecurity with 10,000 police officers, you are going to solve it now with a few pepper guns,” he questioned.

“What I am asking is that the resources of the Police be transferred to us. I am going to take charge of the issue, I personally commit myself and I am going to be on top of each one of the police officers,” he concluded.
De Loredo participated this Monday in the Córdoba Stock Exchange of the 2023 Candidates Meeting cycle.
