The emotions in the first period were not up to par, there were 45 minutes of constant back and forth but without clarity despite the dominance of the home team, who tried to get closer to Santiago Mele’s goal.

Insúa’s team recognized the importance of this game and went out to complement with the intention of making a difference. Two minutes into the complementary period, a good recovery in the middle, allowed the home team to find the spaces after a cross that ended with a header from Vombergar, who put the Raven ahead.

The subsequent moments were pure strategy. San Lorenzo tried to increase the advantage after the expulsion of Franco Calderón, but finally could not achieve it.

With this result, Cuervo stands in the second position of the tournament in a campaign in which he has so far collected twelve points.
